{"id":4071,"date":"2025-08-16T07:06:05","date_gmt":"2025-08-16T06:06:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/codir.net\/?p=4071"},"modified":"2025-08-16T07:06:06","modified_gmt":"2025-08-16T06:06:06","slug":"threats-dismissals-and-suppression-no-longer-work","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/codir.net\/?p=4071","title":{"rendered":"Threats, dismissals, and suppression no longer work!\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>We want our rights!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The dismissal or expulsion from service of our colleague, Mr. Mohammad Hossein Pour (photograph above) from Gilan province, has ignited the anger of nurses and medical staff across the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Protest is our right and launching the &#8220;No to Compulsory Overtime&#8221; campaign, supported by 14,000 signatures from our colleagues, confirms the legitimacy of our demands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We will not allow the burden of our thousands of signatures to fall on one person&#8217;s shoulders. The voice of protest and the demand for our rights will not be silenced by a policy of suppression and intimidation. As nurses and medical staff, we are under the greatest work pressures, yet we continue to endure exhausting shifts despite frequent hospital closures, critical conditions of water and electricity outages, and a lack of sufficient staff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The policies of the health and medical mafia are only destroying our livelihoods as nurses and medical staff and jeopardizing the foundation of the community&#8217;s health system. We constitute the largest working population in the country&#8217;s health system, and with just one hour of striking, we can send a serious warning to the health and medical mafia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our colleagues are being threatened with dismissal and expulsion from service for demanding their rights, and our silence is not permissible. We are all united and demand an end to the judicial cases against our colleagues who are demanding their rights. The legal cases against Mr. Tavakoli and Ms. Bahreini from Mashhad, Mr. Hossein Pour from Langarud, Gilan province, and Pooria Moradi must be immediately closed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There will be no compromise. We will not submit to oppression, and justice will prevail. Collective protest and strikes are our way forward!
