While Iranian forces responded with strikes against regional U.S. military facilities, heavy aerial bombardments have devastated vital civilian infrastructure, leaving millions without water and electricity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This conflict represents a dangerous shift into an &#8220;unlimited,&#8221; multi-dimensional war of attrition.
